So apparently some people are confused about my post yesterday. This is a post I found on an attachment website that tries to put an adults perspective on what a child is going through when they have gone through adoption!! Maybe I should have stated my frame of mind was solely on what I think Lily is going through. I personally did not write this but found it to be a good representation of what might be going on in her little mind.

Yes, this really makes you think. Because of the langage barrier it has to be even harder. You seem to be doing the right thing by looking at pictures and telling her that you love her. Don't stop the love and she'll learn to accept and love you in return. When she's even older she'll understand why this all happend and love you sooo much for saving her and giving her a family that loves her. She's (I think) the luckiest kid around to have the Bebenek's and the Eckhardt's as family.
